Cebu is known as one of the top dive destinations in the region. Great dive sites, such as Mactan’s Gilutungan and Nalusuan island marine sanctuaries are a short 20-30 minute banca ride from mactan Island.
Take an Islands Banca to impressive dive spots and witness an extraordinary array of brightly colored reef fish and beautiful coral gardens right in front of the beach at depths as shallow as 5 meters.

Dive amidst beautifully colored stony and soft coral, populated by schools of jacks, snappers, baby barracudas, groupers, ghost pipefish, sea moths, blue spotted stingrays and many other.
Thresher sharks may be sighted around half the time, early in the morning over at Tingo Point, a good place for macro photography, and where one my encounter larger pelagic species. If you are very lucky, some hammerhead sharks may pass by.
